FOYS was founded in Amsterdam by sports volunteers who noticed that federations often struggle with direct contact with members, ICT legacy issues, and demonstrating value to clubs. Clubs face challenges in recruiting and retaining volunteers due to heavy administrative burdens and outdated digital tools. Members also have difficulty accessing scores, reviews, programs, and other relevant information.
